After 6 weeks on inactivity due to the 6 Nations and weather issues, Llanybydder were relieved when the local groundstaff passed the pitch playable. The visitors are top of the division, and gained a bonus point victory in their quest for promotion. The visitors had first use of the elements, and fly half Rhydian Morris kicking well to the corners, they dominated territory , and with backs and forwards combining well they crossed for 3 first half tries, 2 converted by Morris to give the visitors a 19 – 0 interval lead.
Llanubydder responded well in the second period, as the players gave maximum effort , and were unlucky not to turn pressure into points. However, a Hendy breakaway down the left wing, led to their bonus point try. The home side replied with further pressure , and were rewarded by a popular try for young replacement Josh Jones with the last move of the match.
