It was yet another narrow defeat for Llanybydder, as again a team missing some injured forwards competed well, and eventually claimed a losing bonus point. The home side scored first as Dafydd Jones crossed as he supported a strong run down the right wing. Llanybydder replied with a try for No 8 and captain Ricky Davies after a period of pressure with fly half Steff Richards adding the conversion and a further penalty to give the visitors a 10 – 5 lead. Injuries to lock Josh Jones and hooker Rhys Morris further limited the visitors, with backs having to fill in at forward, and eventually the experienced centre Mike Sauro and No8 Wayne Williams crossed for home tries, both converted by fly-half Dom Sauro who also added a penalty. Llanybydder replied with an excellent try for left wing Luc Evans after a fine team move, converted by Steff Richards to give a final score of 22 – 17.
Next Saturday, Llanybydder finish the season with a home match against in-form Carmarthen Athletic
