It was a pleasing bonus point victory for Llanybydder against a competitive Tregaron outfit. The home side had the better of the first half as full=back Huw Bonner kicked 2 penalties , while there was a try for No 8 Stephen Roberts. The visitors replied with a try for centre Bleddyn Jones, converted by Steff Richards, before Richards had to leave the field with a hamstring injury. In the second half, Llanybydder had more possession with Aled Tandderi Evans regularly winning clean lineout ball, and backs and forwards combining well to create chances. There were close range tries for captain Ricky Davies and replacement prop Twm Adams, with Luc Evans securing the bonus point try. Llyr Tobias converted the three tries to give a final score of 28 - 11 to LLanybydder.
