Llangwm 7 Llanybydder 34
Lanybydder scored 6 tries as they gained a comfortable victory at Pill Parks , Llangwm. The away pack worked hard in securing ball, and with the backs looking to keep the ball alive, they crossed for three first half tries. No 8 and skipper Ricky Davies claimed the first try after taking a quick tap penalty, whilst there were scores for mobile prop Zach Lowther and 2nd row John Evans as they supported the backs in the wide channels. The conversions were missed as the cross field breeze and heavy conditions made kicking difficult. The visitors continued to dominate in the second period, and tries were claimed by centre Bleddyn Jones and fly-half Llyr James, with prolific skipper Davies claiming the final try. Replacement Ross Holder kicked 2 conversions for Llanybydder. The home side battled bravely throughout and were rewarded with a try for No 8 Josh Hicks after a surging run. The conversion by fly-half Luke Hayman made the final score 34 – 7 to the visitors.
