Llanybydder welcomed Cardigan to Parc OJ , looking to avenge a one point defeat earlier in the season. Both sides attempted to play open rugby on a fine Spring day, but strong defences and a lack of precision at crucial times led to a low scoring match. Both teams gained some quality lineout ball, but the home scrum grew stronger as the match progressed with front rowers Zach Lowther, Twm Adams and Dafydd Williams gaining a number of penalties. Fly half Steff Richards was successful with 2 penalties, and he also converted the only try by captain Ricky Davies, the prolific No 8 supporting a backs move to cross for his customary try. Despite plenty of effort by both teams, there were no additions to the score in the second half. Llanybydder travel to leaders Milford Haven for their final League match next Saturday.
